My name is Mike Fordham. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida which means I am a rare Florida Native. I have been married to my lovely bride, Terri, since 1983. God has blessed us with four wonderful children of whom Terri and I could be no more proud: Amanda, Lindsey, Shawn, & Rebecca. Our household also includes Lady (Golden Retriever), Tramp (cat), Buddy (Black Lab), & two Turtles. I am a homebody who loves hanging with my family as much as anything else in this world. I enjoy dates with my wife, playing XBox 360 with my son, attending all my kids’ sports & music events and any other thing that requires me to be the chauffeur. At times I also escape from the world to play in fantasy baseball & football leagues. I also enjoy singing, playing my guitar, and listening to all kinds of music. I also love to play golf and the occasional pickup basketball game (in neither of which do I excel). I am a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (1991) and am presently trying to finish a life long Doctor of Ministry through Asbury Theological Seminary. I am blessed to serve as a pastor since 1991 and am presently serving, since 2003, Community United Methodist Church located in Fruitland Park, FL. I am passionate about preaching and leadership and my greatest joy in ministry is sharing the best news ever, the good news of Jesus Christ, and witnessing God change lives for eternity. It just doesn’t get any better than that!
